Microblading or powder brows?

Lots of people search for microblading first. I only do powder brows. Here's the difference, so you can pick what's right for you.

What's the difference?

Microblading uses a small blade to draw thin hair strokes. Powder brows use a machine to shade in soft color, like brow powder.

Powder brows are the only brow technique I do. They give a soft, shaded look rather than hair strokes.

Why people pick powder brows

  • They look like soft, defined brow makeup, not drawn-on lines.
  • Soft shading tends to heal more evenly on oily or mature skin than crisp hair strokes.
  • They last 1 to 2 years, depending on ink choice and lifestyle.
  • It's gentle and feels like a light scratch, with numbing cream.

Questions people ask

I already have microblading. Can I get powder brows?

Sometimes, if the old pigment is nearly gone. Send me a clear photo of your brows as they are now, and I'll tell you what can be done.

Will powder brows look too dark?

Right after, brows look bolder than they do healed. They soften over about two weeks.

Do you do nano or combo brows?

No. Powder brows are the only brow technique I do.
